Our flasks retain clarity after gamma sterilization, and comply with stringent FDA and USP requirements. Sterile flasks are additionally certified as non-pyrogenic and DNase/RNase-free, making them ideal for cell culture, microbial culture, plants, media preparation, storage, and all other applications. They also fit all standard shaking incubator clamps and can be placed on any platform. Foxx Life Sciences EZclear Flasks are available with a flat or baffled base for increased oxygenation and mixing. Flasks are compatible with 53mm VersaCap technology and adapter inserts, enabling easy customization of top connections. Vented VersaCap with a 0.2m hydrophobic membrane can be purchased with the unit, or separately. All Flasks and VersaCap are autoclavable at 15 PSI and 121C for 20 minutes.

Flask, Shake, 2000mL, 6 Baffles, GL-45 Thread, Vented Cap, Approx OD x Height (mm): 170 x 270. Flask has 6 baffles, 3 baffles on the lower outside edge of the flask and 3 baffles on the bottom surface of the flask to maximize oxygen transfer to the culture medium when used on an orbital shaker. Gray polypropylene vented cap has a 0.22m (PTFE) hydrophobic membrane to allow gas exchange while preventing contamination. They have a liner-less plug seal design for efficient sealing. They are autoclavable at 121C. Since these caps are vented, the flasks can be autoclaved with the cap attached. Please Note: Glass Shake and Fernbach flasks are not designed for use with a SOLID screw cap for culture of anaerobic microorganisms. (Pressure resistant bottles, flasks or tubes are recommended).

Flasks are supplied with exclusive DuoCap designed for both aerobic and anaerobic applications. For aerobic applications the cap utilizes a 0.22m pore size PTFE membrane for sterile air exchange. For anaerobic applications the cap can easily be converted to a solid top design. Solid top caps are also ideal for applications requiring mixing, shaking and storage of biological fluids. Graduations are molded for accuracy.EZTear packaging allows for easy access.

Delong style neck is made to fit Stainless Steel or plastic closures, while the longer neck reduces the amount of splashing that would reach the closure.
